The Undervalued Players of Euroleague Fantasy, Part 2
We compare this season’s initial Fantasy prices with those from the end of last year’s Regular Season to identify potential bargains at the start of the new campaign.

Following the model of our first look at undervalued (and overvalued) players in this year’s EuroLeague Fantasy based on last season’s averages, we now examine the initial prices for this season’s Fantasy players against their values at the end of last year’s Regular Season. Think of it as another exploratory appetizer before the new season tips off.

More specifically, we’ve put together a complete list covering all player price changes—both positive and negative—so you can get an overall picture of everyone returning from last season.

For a consistent point of comparison, we used Round 34 of the competition, the final week of the Regular Season and the last common round for all teams. It provides the most complete snapshot possible of last year’s campaign for the majority of players. The table below shows how this year’s opening prices differ from that advanced stage of last season, highlighting shifts based on their actual output and performance.

So, in the case of negative price changes, we’re looking at players who are valued lower at the start of this season—potentially “obvious” bargains. They might not all be straightforward choices, but generally the higher up a player appears on the list, the bigger the relative drop, and the more likely they are to spark early theoretical interest.

On the flip side, the positive changes—further down the table—show players who now come at a higher cost. That means they’ll be harder to fit into your lineup comfortably, or they might simply be classic early-season traps, especially if their role and playing time are expected to remain largely unchanged.

Naturally, context matters: a player’s new environment, plus any increase or decrease in internal competition, must always be factored in. These tables are just small steps toward adapting to the new Fantasy reality.

One caveat: even at such a late stage of the season, last year’s prices could still be “hostages” of the initial values. They rarely shifted dramatically unless boosted by successive ...level ups in performance (with Carsen Edwards at one extreme, Lorenzo Brown at the other).

At the top of the table, we find several big and generally reliable names, which means they’re relatively accessible even early on. Still, with only 100 credits to work with initially, there’s little room for overspending. Some of these stars will likely face stiffer internal competition this year (a note of caution rather than a deterrent), while others remain in similar environments and may actually be even more attractive picks. At the other end of the table, the last names are likely ones to avoid—unless their sharp price rise is justified by a change in team or role. In some cases, the pricing feels excessive (e.g., Marinkovic), while in others it might not be as unreasonable (e.g., Moses Wright).
