The first clear Fantasy opportunities of the EuroLeague season have already emerged — and they should now be the main targets for every team.
The second double week of the EuroLeague and the EuroLeague Fantasy is already upon us. With three rounds behind us, we finally have a small but meaningful sample that can highlight some obvious opportunities for managers to identify, trust, and capitalize on, as they try to build, strengthen, and evolve their teams in the most efficient and strategic way possible.
This is the time when teams are truly being built, and the immediate priority should be to acquire undervalued players while their cost still remains low relative to their worth. The budget you have right now doesn’t allow you to field ten consistently high-performing players, nor does it justify investing in three or four “heavy” names while leaving the obvious bargains on the table.
Your main, non-negotiable goal is to identify and buy undervalued players — and, as a result, increase your team’s total budget through the gradual price rises of these opportunity picks. The ideal timing for this is right now, at the start of the season. If Vezenkov reaches 20 credits or Osmani 10 before entering your roster, it’ll already be too late — unless you’ve taken some very bold (and risky) early decisions.
As for the market itself, the overall picture hasn’t changed dramatically since the opening week. Among the guards, a few solid mid-tier options have begun to stand out. In contrast, there are fewer surprises among forwards, where only a handful of appealing mid-range options remain — unlike the start of the season, and certainly compared to last year. As for centers, the reliable choices are still few, though some affordable names are beginning to look more stable, with the potential for pleasant surprises ahead.
The coaching slot remains just as tricky. Clear-cut choices are rare at this stage, and upsets continue to dominate (six outsider bonuses so far in the PickMaster EuroLeague — two per round). This volatility makes it hard to plan long-term for coaches if you want to save a player transfer slot. During busy weeks like this one, however, that approach could prove handy — provided, of course, you can identify a coach who’s likely to deliver positive results in both games of the double round. Whether such a coach actually exists right now — or at least is clearly visible — is another matter entirely. It might even be time to think about some… unconventional tactics.
Since we’re heading into a double week, make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for last-minute surprises. Injuries and absences will be a recurring headache all season long — even more so now, with games and updates coming non-stop across just four days.
The action begins tonight, Tuesday, at 19:00, by which time you should have finalized your team. It will resume immediately after Wednesday night’s games, meaning that within just a few hours, you’ll need to adjust and refresh your plan for the second part of the week. It’s wise, therefore, to plan ahead with a two-round horizon — looking at how you can bring in a player who may not fit your current lineup, but could perfectly slot in next round.
Fortunately, the schedule is relatively balanced across both rounds, so it shouldn’t heavily influence your immediate decisions.
As usual, you’ll also find below the updated player stats tables, which include, among other things, metrics for each player’s upcoming opponent. These numbers are still very early to meaningfully affect your strategy, but they’re included as a reference point — and as data you’ll gradually learn to use more effectively.
For even more detailed Fantasy data, don’t forget to check the BasketStories DataCenter, which will soon be updated with additional, valuable insights — for Fantasy and beyond.
Stay tuned...

A return to commanding form for the American guard, who delivered victory to his team with a buzzer-beater at the end of the game against Baskonia — a shot that completed his 30-point performance and earned him 24 PIR. The Panathinaikos scorer seems to be one of the few expensive guards capable of significantly raising his price, and as such, he remains a top target for any Fantasy team. He didn’t play in the weekend’s Greek “Clasico”, but Nunn doesn’t appear to be dealing with a serious issue and is expected to return — although, realistically, the upcoming matchup with Villeurbanne might be an opportunity for some rest. After that, Panathinaikos faces Anadolu Efes away.

After two positive but not spectacular outings, the Frenchman made his first real “statement game” on the court of his former team, putting up 27 PIR in just 20 and a half minutes, thanks also to Zalgiris’s comfortable win over Bayern. His +0.6 credit rise doesn’t exactly excite potential buyers, but Francisco should increasingly be counted among the elite guards in the game — especially with the way the Lithuanians are playing right now. The odd trend of him shooting better from three than from the free-throw line (50%) continues to hold.

The Frenchman has started the season just as expected — explosively — averaging 21.3 points and 18.3 PIR in 21:52 minutes across the first three games. Even more intriguing are his 4.5 assists and 4.5 steals in the last two, numbers that add a new and exciting dimension to his game. If Hifi can maintain all-around contributions alongside his natural scoring ability, he’ll be a constant Fantasy factor. Two home games for Paris this week give him extra appeal.

Consistent once again, the “Italian” continues to provide scoring (and entertainment) in limited minutes, thanks mainly to his efficiency from long range (8/14 three-pointers), which helps him average 15.7 points per game. His assists and drawn fouls could be higher, and with Valencia’s crowded backcourt, there’s a mild long-term concern. Still, Thompson’s experience and adaptability suggest that he’ll soon stand out further within Valencia’s high-tempo system.

The 2/7 free throws against Red Star only partly soften the disappointment from the American’s subpar (by his standards) showing. Baldwin posted 11 PIR, but he never really looked like himself during the game — only reaching double digits at the very end. His momentum hasn’t disappeared, though; the Fenerbahce guard remains one of the top value picks for his cost, even if his latest performance reminded us that it’ll take a bit more consistency before he fully reclaims his Fantasy dominance.

A second straight 20+ performance (both in points and PIR) for the American, who has already erased his poor opener and raised his price by 0.9 credits since the start of the season. A key rotation piece for Partizan, Brown could benefit further from Milton’s potential absence in this double week. However, with two away games in Spain (including Real Madrid) and his inconsistency, you may hesitate to buy now — there are other priorities in the market.
| Round 3 | @ Barcelona |

Particularly solid throughout the game against Barcelona, Moore elevated his play in the fourth quarter, going toe-to-toe with the Blaugrana’s sharp shooting. One of this season’s revelations, Moore has shown that he can contribute in multiple areas, even within Valencia’s crowded rotation. His numbers so far are dazzling — 16 points, 6.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 4 drawn fouls in 26:36 per game — and his 11.3 credits (+1.3 since opening week) remain an excellent deal.

He may not be the most accurate shooter in the competition, but his versatility, heavy minutes, and overall quality have made him one of the standout guards early this season. With an average of 19.3 PIR and a cost of 10.8 credits, there’s little reason to hesitate (apart from the competitive mid-range market at this position). It’s worth noting that Forrest posted 43 PIR in the ACB against Real Madrid, including a remarkable 19/19 free throws, leading Baskonia to its first win of the year.

The 9 drawn fouls and 13 free throws (8 made) highlight the high ceiling of Fenerbahce’s newest “NBAer.” Alongside Baldwin, Horton Tucker is expected to be a major Fantasy presence for Saras’s team this season. His 3 PIR from the previous game in Kaunas may push him a little down your priority list for now, but he remains firmly on the radar — and it wouldn’t be surprising if he soon becomes one of the hottest names in the market.

This time, he stayed more subdued, with Cordinier (mainly) and Weiler-Babb standing out in Partizan. All three clearly have potential, but they might end up hurting each other’s Fantasy value, at least in the short term. Over time, though, each could rise above their current prices. For now, Cordinier enjoys the most minutes, Weiler-Babb contributes across more categories, and Loyd remains the cheapest (and most proven Fantasy-wise). And don’t forget, Dozier has just entered the mix alongside Larkin.

In excellent shape, the Greek international guard isn’t shining primarily through shooting — his 36.4% from three can still improve — but through poise, maturity, and readiness. Dorsey has taken on a leadership role in Olympiacos’s backcourt early in the season. Averaging 17.7 PIR and around 6/7 free throws in 29 minutes per game, he’s arguably the best player you can get in the single-digit price range right now. In Sunday’s derby, he added yet another layer to his game with 8 assists and 0 turnovers!

A more down-to-earth performance for the American against Red Star — though his 10 PIR remains solid relative to his price, and his playing time stayed above 30 minutes. This time, however, his scoring touch was off (just 1/3 from the field). Hall’s general reliability and style mean he remains serviceable at 9.2 credits, though he’s currently a step behind other, more obvious targets mentioned above.

Inconsistency is part of Blatt’s profile, but that doesn’t change the fact that he can still outperform his current 8.5-credit value. His best games tend to come at home, and with Maccabi hosting both Barcelona and Olympiacos this double week, the odds are decent that we’ll see at least one more notable Fantasy performance from him soon.

His 9 PIR may not stand out given his potential, but it came after a poor start in Barcelona, where the young Spaniard eventually dished 8 assists in 18:19. De Larrea remains one of the most intriguing low-to-mid-price guard options — capable of delivering big scores on occasion and offering value in a position that still lacks strong alternatives at that range.

MVP of Round 3 with a dominant performance and a 37.4 fantasy score against Dubai, raising his price by 0.8 credits and separating himself from the field—the Olympiacos forward is, unsurprisingly, the game’s most popular player. A particularly poor haul by his standards against his former team: Mirotic finished with just 7 points and a mere 4 field-goal attempts in 22:09 in Milan, losing the momentum he’d built over the first two rounds. The Montenegrin’s class is unquestioned and he can certainly justify this price, but that borderline double-digit outing reasonably nudges you toward alternatives—either pricier and safer, or cheaper and more undervalued—until you have more data on the table.

He found easier paths to the rim, dominated the paint, and delivered one of his stronger scores—his first in Red Star colors—in the Serbs’ big road win over Fenerbahce. In short order Moneke added +0.7 credits to his price and can clearly push higher as long as he holds a starring role in his team’s offense—injuries or no injuries. One caveat: his coexistence with Obradovic, under whom he couldn’t get minutes at Monaco in 2022–23.

Panathinaikos appears to be dealing with multiple issues in its frontline, and the Spaniard is the steady solution at the 4—a point made obvious by his minutes in the last two games, where he’s also produced excellent Fantasy returns. Juancho isn’t always a numbers magnet, but if the environment remains favorable for him to take on more initiative, he can be a trump card at the position—even if his current price requires sacrifices elsewhere.

11/16 from three so far for the American—a clip that helps him average 21.7 points per game and 26 PIR. His peripheral numbers (rebounds, assists) dipped versus Valencia compared with the first two rounds, but 6 drawn fouls (another hallmark) kept him in the “20s” and his price climbed another +0.3 credits. He remains affordable for what he’s delivering right now, and playing away from home may not hurt him—certainly not the way it seems to affect some of his teammates…

He wasn’t negative in Piraeus, but he didn’t do anything notable Fantasy-wise either, having to battle the very “beasts” who kept him on the bench a year ago (2 rebounds in 26:51). The Turkish star is an integral part of Panathinaikos’s rotation and, despite a recent knock, logged roughly 34.5 minutes in the Basque Country, posting 20 points and 8 rebounds (20 PIR) and resetting his cost to his season’s starting price. At 100%, Osman comfortably justifies 12.1 credits; even if he’s not quite there yet, he’s still a very good—and slightly under-the-radar—option right now, overshadowed by flashier undervalued picks and constrained budgets.

It was a more mortal score, but 14 PIR on Fener’s floor shouldn’t disappoint. Nwora stayed efficient inside (4/5 twos), though he missed from deep (0/3). His minutes dipped a bit, but with so many injuries around, there’s little reason to worry on that front. 18.7 PIR from just 11.7 points is a rare ratio—especially for a wing. Playing a clean 30 minutes per game, the Partizan forward adds 7 rebounds and 3.7 drawn fouls, making him one of the most undervalued forwards in Fantasy and a standout choice heading into the second double week. For the German, the key is consistency—he has the game, but historically the away factor hasn’t been his calling card.

While his ceiling seems somewhat limited—for now—the Italian can be a target in the position’s lower-mid price tier because of the relative stability and safety he’s shown through three games: 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 12 PIR in just under 21 minutes. He’s not someone you build around, but if you need a budget forward, Niang is worth a look.

Who leads the Euroleague in minutes? Osmani. Who’s the most undervalued Fantasy player (through three games)? Osmani. It’s no exaggeration to say the Turk is the most essential Fantasy pick right now for what he provides at his price; his away performance in Belgrade (a problem spot last year) was genuinely encouraging for a breakout season. Efes’s schedule is demanding, but there’s really no reason he shouldn’t be on your roster right now.

A bolt-from-the-blue performance for the veteran guard—not in terms of minutes, but in efficiency—offering an unexpected gift to those who spotted the opportunity. Jackson naturally comes with… negative traps as well as upside, but at this moment it’s sensible to ride with him: the risk isn’t higher than that of his price peers, while the potential payoff is clearly larger.

After a sluggish start, the American finally delivered the performance many managers had been waiting for against Efes — a team that practically played without a true center. His 28 PIR instantly brought him back into the Fantasy spotlight, though not yet into shopping range due to his high price tag and the upcoming matchup in Madrid. If he keeps producing such samples, however, Jones will steadily raise his stock — along with the budgets of the teams that will eventually be able to afford him.

With 17/18 two-pointers and only four three-point attempts (two made), the German essentially doesn’t lose Fantasy points — he just keeps accumulating them as long as he’s on the court. That’s why he’s started the season so impressively, averaging 23.3 PIR in just 22.5 minutes! Such ratios aren’t easy to sustain, of course, but there’s little reason not to jump on the Monaco center while he’s in this scorching form and still at a price that, while climbing, doesn’t yet look intimidating — even if his numbers normalize.

Business as usual for the Serbian, who posted his second double-double of the season against Dubai in just 20:08 (he missed one against Real by a single rebound), climbing further up the rankings to become the fifth-most expensive center (after starting 12th) and second overall in Fantasy score, narrowly behind Theis. At 13.6 credits, Milutinov remains an absolute must-have — a player who will keep delivering big scores and boosting your team’s budget along the way.

His 11 PIR in Piraeus was lower than his first two standout outings, but given the red-and-white frontcourt he had to face, the Canadian hardly underperformed — especially considering his limited minutes. Even in an average of 16:18 per game, he’s easily justifying his cost for now, and it’ll be interesting to see whether more playing time will translate into greater Fantasy consistency and growth.

The new Milan big man seized his chance right after Nebo’s injury, producing his first major performance of the season — 27 PIR, 8 rebounds, and 7 drawn fouls in 29:50 against Monaco. With both Nebo and Leday sidelined, Booker suddenly becomes the undisputed anchor of Milan’s frontline. As a result, somewhat unexpectedly, the American emerges as a slightly under-the-radar (based on early-season perception) yet promising option — especially considering his form last year.

Reliable and productive through the first three rounds, Oturu has been one of the Fantasy standouts and a clear fan favorite among centers. Scoring consistently around 20 PIR and still priced at a very approachable 11.5 credits, the Hapoel big man looks capable of staying in your lineup for a while — saving you the stress of managing one of your roster’s key positions.

A second consecutive “quiet” performance, combined with limited minutes and Birutis’s impact, slightly lowers the American’s stock — though Zalgiris’s comfortable win in Munich certainly affected his playing time. The upcoming double week will be pivotal for Wright’s Fantasy trajectory: he still ranks among the top options at the position, but he’ll need to push harder to hold his ground, as three other names have already pulled ahead.

This time, he played more — and produced more — than Wright, with the Lithuanian now averaging 13.7 PIR in 14:17 minutes, putting himself firmly on the radar as a low-cost center who can realistically contribute some scoring. His ceiling likely isn’t much higher, but he could still draw your attention — unless you’re more tempted by his fellow countryman up next.

An impressive debut for the Lithuanian with Red Star, reaching 19 PIR in under 15 minutes during the win over Fener, and showing a highly promising statistical profile. After being marginalized in Monaco — where internal competition was fierce — Motiejunas now looks to regain his on-court and Fantasy relevance. At 7.3 credits, he’s a very attractive gamble for anyone willing (or needing) to take a risk, despite the limited sample of what his new role will look like. Coincidentally (?) he’ll again be coached by Obradovic, which, judging by their history, might actually be a positive sign.
Devotion.
