BasketStories’ EuroLeague predictions game enters its ninth season, promising rich prizes and unforgettable moments for every player!
BasketStories proudly presents the new
PickMaster EuroLeague for the 2025–26 season—the special EuroLeague predictions game—now heading into its ninth year! In PickMaster EuroLeague, you’ll need not only your basketball knowledge but also your instincts, as you predict the outcome of every EuroLeague matchup. The closer your prediction is to reality, the more points you’ll earn.
This year’s prize pool is once again full of rewards. The overall season winner will take home a
Nintendo Switch Lite, while the top manager of the Regular Season will secure a coveted
EuroLeague Final Four ticket, for the event taking place May 22–24 at OAKA in Athens. Many more prizes await, both for top-ranked players and those who deliver standout weekly performances. And of course, you can also compete privately against your friends in your own
Private League!
PickMaster EuroLeague tips off on
Tuesday, September 30 at 18:00 CET time with the season opener between Hapoel and Barcelona, and runs all the way through the Final Four at the end of the season. That means you can predict every single EuroLeague game. And since this is a marathon, you can jump in at any point—it’s a game designed to keep you engaged all year long!
The Game
PickMaster EuroLeague keeps the same gameplay format as in previous years. Scoring works the same way, with
extra scores still available during the regular season, plus a special
round bonus for piling up many correct picks in a single round. With more games this year (thanks to the expanded number of teams), the round bonuses scale accordingly—starting at 10 points for 8/10 correct picks and going up to 40 points for a perfect 10/10. The
outsider bonus (still 15%) remains in place for every stage, while the “Pass” option also returns, letting you use up to three
passes to your advantage.
For new players, the basics of scoring predictions are simple: for every game you must
predict the winner and the point margin.
A correct winner pick gives you 5 points.
The closer your predicted margin is to the actual result, the more points you gain.
For example, being 10 points off the margin gives you 1 point, while being just 1 point off earns you 10 points!
Nailing both the correct winner and the exact margin adds a 4-point bonus—meaning 20 points in total from a single game.
These scores increase in the later stages of the competition (Play-In, Playoffs, Final Four).
For full details on scoring, check out the
instructions page, or dive deeper with the
PickMaster EuroLeague guide.
Season Predictions
A key feature of the game is the Season Predictions, where every player must forecast the final EuroLeague standings at the end of the season. These predictions must be submitted before Round 1 and cannot be changed afterward. They’ll be added to your total score at the end of the season. The closer you are to the actual final placement of each team, the more points you’ll earn—based on the same logic as game scoring. Correct phase, margin of error, and exact-position bonuses can all give your score a major boost. You can see detailed examples in the
instructions.
Don’t forget: you must submit your Season Predictions before the season begins. A portion of your performance here will be added to your overall game score, giving you a valuable boost in the rankings. Specifically, each player will gain X% of their Season Prediction score, where X is the number of rounds in which they submit picks (now four more than before, since the competition includes 20 teams).
The Prizes
If you outperform everyone else, a
Nintendo Switch Lite will be yours. The runner-up wins a
Spalding EuroLeague TF-500 basketball, perfect for any court. Third place takes home a
Spalding TF-150 basketball. Players finishing 4th and 5th, as well as all winners of the Max 5 intervals, will each receive a
basketball book of their choice, selected from a wide range of popular titles.
But that’s not all! The winners of the Olympiacos and Panathinaikos special leaderboards will each earn an
official jersey of their team. Meanwhile, the Regular Season champion—the player in first place after 38 rounds of predictions—will secure a
EuroLeague Final Four ticket, for the Final Four event in Athens on May 22–24!
So don’t wait! Join the
PickMaster EuroLeague, study the matchups and season predictions carefully, make your best calls, compete with fellow BasketStories and EuroLeague fans, become the guru of the competition—and win amazing prizes!
