PICK YOUR CAPTAIN
Step right up!
A round full of unlimited transfers and opportunities!

Another three-turn round, with the key difference that Fantasy players now have the privilege of unlimited transfers. That doesn’t necessarily mean an extreme makeover, but it certainly gives managers the freedom to make corrective moves — not only by locking in “heavy” and reliable options, but also by targeting players who could turn out to be real “bargains.”
Naturally, the choice of captain — with the double-score bonus it brings — remains a pivotal decision for the continuation of the season. So, let’s take a quick look at our selections, after the usual recap of the previous round.
In Round 5, our captains delivered the following scores: Francisco 3, Vezenkov 34.1, Bryant 14.3, and Moore 1. In other words, aside from the ever-reliable Vezenkov, the riskier alternatives disappointed.
For Round 6, which starts in just a few hours, here are our picks by turn:
In Turn 1, the pick is Chuma Okeke of Real Madrid.
In Turn 2, the dilemma lies between Mfiondu Kabengele and Filip Petrusev of Dubai. I’m leaning toward the Serbian, mainly because I think his style fits better against ASVEL’s game. That said, I’m not ruling out Kabengele either… Alternatively, Jordan Nwora — who will likely appear in most Fantasy rosters starting today — has all the data pointing toward him leading our teams. A small asterisk here, though, as we’re talking about Serbs (Fantasy veterans know what that means...).
In Turn 3, there’s obviously Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos, but the choice of fellow Red Nikola Milutinov is also an intriguing one.
That’s all for today. Be mindful with your “shopping” and thoughtful in how you shape your rosters. Best of luck with your picks — whatever they may be!
